Abstract

Candida has a strong propensity to invade any host tissue that exhibits inherent or acquired immune deficiencies. The immune system is a remarkably adaptable line of protection that shields a person from pathogens like Candida. The aim of current project was studying the immunological response to the pediatric suffer from oral candidiasis by two immunological indicators include IL4 and IL6 in the serum. Sixty-one patients from paediatric infected with oral candidiasis are included in this study, blood samples were taken from these pediatric, ready kits were used to estimate the sera levels of these IL4 and IL6. The results showed that significant increase of both concentration of IL4 and IL6 in serum from pediatric with oral infection compared with control group at P ≤ 0.05. Also, the study recorded a strong positive correlation between IL4 and IL6. P ≤ 0.001 while the current study recorded a non-significant increase of both concentration IL4, IL6 According to (sex, age, lactation). Authors concluded that there was high level of IL6, IL4 in children with oral thrush.
