Total Intravenous Anesthesia (TIVA) has gained widespread popularity for short surgical procedures due to its rapid onset, controlled anesthetic depth, and reduced postoperative complications. Propofol is a widely used intravenous anesthetic agent because of its smooth induction, rapid recovery, and minimal residual effects. However, its use is often associated with dose-dependent cardiovascular depression, which can lead to hypotension and bradycardia.
